Set on a suburban block in Inverloch, this build was shaped around an existing shed already on the site, with the design built to work around it rather than against it. Designed on passive house principles, the result is an 7.5 star, high performance home with clearly defined, purposeful spaces that make the most of every part of the block.

With Early Builder Involvement (EBI), Bass Coast Builders joined the design discussions from day one, helping the client work through layout and material choices well before work started on site. You can see the benefit throughout the finished home, from the client's confident use of space and style to the practical details that make daily family life run smoothly.

At the heart of the home is a chef's kitchen, finished with a mix of stainless steel and stone benchtops for a premium, professional feel. Handmade basins feature throughout the wet areas, adding warmth and character to every bathroom. Natural timber runs through all of the joinery, and generous glazing floods the living spaces with natural light. Material choices throughout were made to perform for the long term, not just to look good on handover day.
